Snowbird Eligibility for a Florida Medical Marijuana Card

Under Florida law, a seasonal resident is defined as someone who:

  • Resides in Florida for at least 31 consecutive days during each calendar year.
  • Maintains a temporary residence in Florida.
  • Returns to their permanent residence outside Florida at least once during each calendar year.
  • Is registered to vote or pays income tax in another state or jurisdiction.

To prove seasonal residency, you can submit two of the following documents:

  • A deed, mortgage, or lease agreement.
  • A utility bill dated within the last 60 days.
  • Mail from a financial institution or government agency dated within the last 60 days.
